Tampa Pro 2011

Im a little late posting this one.  Tampa was a wild ride this year from leaving the driveway to barely rolling back home, but I did shoot one of the angles for the live broadcast. Normally I work this event for fuel, but it was a awesome experience to work with the webcast guys again from the Coastal Carnage Contest this past summer and the one and only Skatepark of Tampa. Farewell Special Sauce

Its been a while since my last update. PHX AM had me away from home for a while. I had a great time out their and spent an extra 4 days exploring Arizona, so expect to see a Clip soon. My friend Jordan did well in the Contest and had one of the best tricks. He also grabbed alot of loot from the King of Spring (you should see a Fuel segment in The Weekly Update next week).

Also I blew it on giving you guys a sneak peak of some really sick glass blowing By Memento on 420. I know that 420 is not a real holiday, so all you guys are out their smoking everyday anyways, so today its up! The Brooklyn Banks

The Brooklyn Banks are going to be gone for the next 4 years starting 1/15/10. The banks was never the top spot on the list for the everyday New Yorker and i already feel like there is going to be some imbalance to the city for the next 4 years. It was always the place to meetup at, since it was so close to the subway everyone took to skate downtown spots. Its going to be a tearjerker not being able to cruise through. I really enjoyed this Mike V interview about the Banks, you should watch it.

Anthony Grant

Anthony Grant will definitely stir up question if you ever meet him.  When I first met this kid I wouldn't say we were the greatest friends, but over time we became better and better friends. Besides all that, the kid is a machine, He won last years Zumiez Couch Tour (overall) and was entered into the Xgames. Also he filmed a montage with me at the P-rod Plaza in about 15 minutes. I wouldn't even be able to do the simplest trick in this clip in less than an hour. A.G kills it and you will be seeing more of him soon.

I had the luxury of working with these two guys for 2 weeks for the camp woodward show. They both were really cool down to earth dudes, knew there shit and would come shred the bowl at night. I miss these guys.

Mike Marks Update

After Mike Marks fling with NY city last summer not alot of people have seen or heard from him in a while. Well he is still killing it! A couple weeks ago i trooped upsate to give him a visit. Tho we didn"t get to skate much because he was working and saving up money to move to Denver CO. However we did spend a day filming at the skate park and the majority of everything we filmed was 1st try. We also got to check out a couple spots around town. I threw in a little bit of footage from my last visit to Moravia as well. Look for Mike in some upcoming clips...

Sometimes Skateboards, the dream team?

Jake Johnson, Ryan Holloway ,Vince Alverez Brendan Leddy, Mike Marks and Brian Clarke. Damn that would be a good team nowadays. Sometimes days were awesome, besides the fact i look back on some stuff as "creepy".

Sorry for the lack of content this month. i just got back from canada and before that i was in Vermont and Upstate NY so i havn't really had time to be posting stuff. I will be posting a bunch of updates this week though. So check back tomorrow...

Thunderstorms and Badgers 7/2/09

Its been a while since i posted something. Last week i kept going skating, but the thundershowers kept raining us out every 2 hours. Me and Taylor decided to give Kieth and KCDC a visit when we continuously were rained out. After being stuck there for a while i decided to make a web clip. It should have been up the next day but we all agreed to make the edit together so it took a while. Anyways, KCDC sesh with Taylor Mearcker, Keith Denley and James Buchmann.
